About SBC

The Shreveport Bicycle Club (SBC) was officially incorporated as a non-profit organization on March 11, 1979. Individuals involved in the formal incorporation included James Bolin Jr, Denise Hiddleston, Chris Mitchell, Bob Wilson, and Charlotte Willis. The clubs Articles of Incorporation were filed with the Caddo Parish Recorders Office and with the Louisiana Secretary of State's Office.

The Club is a member of the League of American Bicyclists (formerly the League of American Wheelmen). Through the League of American Bicyclists, the SBC has some limited accident and general liability insurance.
